Uno Loco Luxury, in collaboration with TLN and Tantalus Estate invited members and guests of the network for an evening of Bordeaux wine tasting with Ludwig Vanneron from Oenosmart and LVCA at The Northern Club.

Ludwig VANNERON is a French Wine Consultant and “Flying Winemaker” based in Saint-Emilion (East of Bordeaux). He founded his own advisory company named OENOSMART in 2011, a firm providing vine and wine consultancy, marketing strategy and blending expertise. Joined by business partner, Chase Arquette, Director & Viticulturist of Chateau Waimarama.

Guests had the pleasure of tasting five ‘growth’ Bordeaux 2011 and three New Zealand style Bordeaux 2011 from the Hawkes Bay and Karaka.

Tantalus Estate‘s Winemaker Alex Perez and Viticulturalist Chris Ward then presented tastings of the Écluse and Évoque, their award-winning Bordeaux-styled blends, for a sampling of the Estate’s inaugural 2014 vintage.

Cellar Door Manager Clare Dunleavy announced to TLN members and guests that Tantalus Estate has just launched their Foundation Wine Club, giving exclusive membership to only 100 people to access limited edition wines and unique dining experiences and events at the Estate venue. Every guest on the evening was offered the opportunity to join, to which they all did, bringing the new Wine Club to almost full capacity!
