Despite torrential rain earlier in the week, bright sunshine and a warm breeze on Sunday lifted spirits for the 40th Land Rover Polo Open in Clevedon. The skies above the Polo grounds were buzzing as Luxury Network member Helentranz flew in with its fleet of high-end choppers as members and guests enjoyed their stylish helicopter arrival before making their way to The Luxury Network VIP marquee.

While some opted for Wellies, others remained steadfast in their shoe choice and were thankful to the beautiful carpet runner supplied by Luxury Network member Designer Rugs which complemented the elegant interior fit-out by member Coast.

The Luxury Network’s stylish marquee attracted much attention and was a buzz with a mixture of members and guests enjoying one of the oldest and fastest games in the world.

The Polo grounds were miraculously patched up between games by the traditional “stomping of the divots”—no small task when you consider a Polo field is larger than six rugby fields, that’s almost 10 acres. Congratulations to Tiger Building for who fought back against tough competition to become winners of the Land Rover NZ Polo Open and thanks to our member partner Auckland Polo for a fantastic event—now a staple on The Luxury Network calendar.
